Phoenixes rise because they have no other choice.

This self-directed series was created after my departure from the BBC’s Glow Up… a moment that left cracks far deeper than what was seen on screen.

Those fractures became the inspiration behind this story. Every crack in our skin symbolises trauma, pressure, and the emotional aftermath of public rejection. But beneath them, glowing gemstones emerge: magical interiors revealed only once the surface breaks apart.

Creating this alongside Charity Kase felt especially meaningful, as we both experienced being eliminated on episode four of our respective reality tv shows. Through that shared experience, we found connection, resilience, and ultimately transformation.

Sometimes the fire destroys you.
